Claiming your Google Place page is easy:

Sign in to your Google Account Go to Google My Business pages and Choose ‘Get on Google’
Enter your business name and address on the search bar
Choose the last option ‘Add your business’
Fill out the business information required
Choose a verification method
The verification code is mailed to the business address provided
You will have to enter the verification code to make any changes to your Google Places page.

Build Citations
To put in simple words, a citation refers to a mention of your business (name, address and contact details, etc.) on other websites. Citations are an important consideration to rank high on Google’s local search pages. There are several sources that could reference your business.
